The N.O.O.K. is a 100% volunteer organization. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we have a limited number of trained Volunteers on Call (VOC) each year. If you have a passion to serve students and school staff in our community, we would love to have you!
What does it mean to be a VOC?
- Available at least two school days per month from 8 a.m. – 2p.m.
- Respond to requests from school personnel by shopping for new essentials (clothing, shoes, hygiene items and feminine hygiene), then promptly delivering these items to the requesting school
- Deliver food boxes as requested to school personnel for families. Food boxes are provided by our partner, One Generation Away.
- Provide own transportation.
