Our Mission is to support school staff in the Franklin Special School District and the schools of Williamson County as they work to ensure that all students enter the classroom ready to learn and succeed by achieving their individual potential.
We are 100% volunteer led
Volunteers on Call (VOCs) are prepared every school day to respond to our school’s social workers, counselors, nurses when they need items for a student.
We are there in times of need
intensely focused on partnering with school staff to eliminate barriers to education for kids in crisis.
We eliminate barriers to education
so that all students enter the classroom ready to learn and succeed by achieving their individual potential.
The NOOK is a resource center that provides basic essentials (things like coats, shoes, socks, underwear, shirts, pants, basic and feminine hygiene) to students in our community’s schools on demand at the request of a school’s nurse, counselor or social worker.
We are a 100% volunteer driven organization. There are Volunteers on Call (VOCs) during every school day who are prepared to respond to our school’s social workers, counselors, nurses when they need items for a student. The VOC then responds by securing what has been requested by purchasing them or picking them up from our warehouse and delivering the package to the school.
